General FAQ's
▶ Do I need previous retail or franchising experience to become a Cellairis® franchisee?
No, you do not. One of the advantages of a Cellairis® franchise is that we are a relatively simple retail operation. We will provide you with all the training necessary at our corporate facilities to start your new business venture.
▶ What are the minimum financial requirements to open a Cellairis® location?
We do offer a few different store models so it varies. The minimum requirement for a kiosk franchise is $50,000 in liquid assets and/or the ability to obtain financing for at least $80,000.
▶ Is Cellairis® offering single and multi-unit franchise opportunities?
Yes, we are offering both. The financial requirements will be greater for a multi-unit or Area Development agreement.
▶ What is the initial franchise fee and what are the royalty fees?
The initial franchise fee is $20,000 for a kiosk and $25,000 for an inline or a full-store experience. The initial royalty fee for a kiosk and inline is only $800/month or 3% of gross sales (whichever is greater). The royalty fee for a Full Store Experience is 4% of gross sales.
▶ Are there any marketing or advertising fees?
Not at this time. We do reserve the right to collect up to 3% of gross sales, or 5% for interactive kiosk/RMU, if and when we establish an advertising fund upon written notice to you.
▶ Will Cellairis® help me find a location?
Yes, although we are not obligated to do so. Locations may be suggested and must be accepted by us. We also may enlist the services of a real estate broker in your region.
▶ What type of initial training and support will I receive as a new Cellairis® franchisee?
You will receive approximately 14 days of training for kiosks and up to 21 days for a full-store experience. This will typically occur at our headquarters in Alpharetta, Ga and nearby training store sites.
▶ Does Cellairis® offer financing for franchisees?
No, we do not provide financing but we do have great relationships with a few third party companies that will assist you in obtaining the required capital.
▶ How soon can I expect my Cellairis® location to open?
Your first location will generally open within 2 to 5 months of signing the Franchise Agreement. This time frame will be contingent upon many factors.
▶ What are the different types of business models you offer and the start-up costs for each?
Cart/RMU, interactive kiosk, inline and full-store experience. The initial investment range is from a low of $36,810 for a cart/RMU to the highest possible of $373,575 for a full-store or inline. Refer to the respective Franchise Disclosure Document for specific details.
▶ Will I have a protected territory?
Yes, for a full-store experience franchise. This will be outlined in your Franchise Agreement when a site is secured.
▶ Will I receive guidance on purchasing fixtures, product, and supplies?
Yes, you will have an assigned corporate representative that will guide you through every step of the development process. Cellairis® provides a virtual turnkey system to keep the process uncomplicated.
▶ Will I receive assistance in planning a Cellairis® grand opening?
Yes, our marketing, PR, and operations teams will be supporting you every step of the way.
▶ How much profit can I expect from a Cellairis® franchise?
We encourage prospective franchisees to conduct significant due diligence prior to committing to any new franchise venture. The amount of profit or loss is dependent on a number of factors including the ability of the franchisee to manage the business, drive sales volume and control operating costs.
